What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember information from one page to the next, or from one visit to the next.
Who is responsible
The party responsible for this site and the cookies it uses is Fundación Jaime Planas, Fundación Privada, with tax number G59509133 and registered office at Pere II de Montcada, 16, 08034 Barcelona, Spain. Its other details are in the legal notice.
Cookies used on this site
Technical cookies (always active)
They are strictly necessary for the site to work and do not require your consent. They are our own and cannot be used to follow you across other sites.
| Cookie | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
__Host-planas_session | Our own | Keeps your session open in the private area of the congress. It is only created when you log in. | 7 days |
__Host-planas_panel | Our own | Keeps the session of the Foundation's staff open in the management panel. It does not affect visitors to the website. | 8 hours |
planas_cookies | Our own | Remembers what you have chosen about analytics cookies, so that we do not ask you again on every page. | 12 months |
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
This site may use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to find out how many people visit it and which pages they read. These cookies are only installed if you accept them in the cookie notice.
| Cookie | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Tells one visitor from another for statistical purposes. | 2 years | |
_ga_XXXXXXXXXX | Keeps the state of the analytics session. The end of the name is the property identifier. | 2 years |
We do not use advertising or social media cookies.
Our own cookieless measurement
In addition, this site counts how many times each page is viewed, day by day, to know which content is of interest. It does not use cookies or store anything in your browser, and it does not record your IP address or any data that could identify you: only the page and its language, the site you came from and whether you view it on a mobile, a tablet or a computer. That is why it does not need your consent.
What happens if you reject them
This site uses Google's advanced consent mode. If you reject analytics cookies, no Google cookie is installed in your browser, but the page still sends Google cookieless signals with technical data about the visit, such as the IP address, the type of browser and the page viewed. Google uses them in aggregate to estimate the site's traffic. If you accept, those signals are sent together with the cookies described above.
How to change your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the «Cookie settings» link at the bottom of every page. Your choice is kept for 12 months; after that, or if the cookies we use change, we will ask you again.
How to delete them from your browser
Any browser lets you see and delete a site's cookies from its preferences or privacy settings. If you delete the session cookie, any session you have open in the private area is closed.
